Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs Are Still Available at laGrange parks Village Hall

Courtesy of the Clean Air Counts program, the Village of LaGrange Park still has a small supply of free Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs (CFLs) for La Grange Park residents. They are available for distribution at a rate of five per household on a first-come first serve basis. Residents can stop by during normal business hours to pick up their CFL bulbs. In order to reap the full environmental benefit of these bulbs, they should be disposed of properly as they contain mercury. Conveniently, La Grange Park residents can take their expired CFLs to Ace Hardware on 31st Street for recycling.
