35 S. La Grange Road, La Grange
Sponsored by LGBA

The basic idea for Empty Bowls is simple. Terra Incognito, along with students from Lyons Township High School, hand craft 1000 bowls.

Event participants purchase the bowls that evening at Terra Incognito, 35 S. LaGrange Rd., and travel to participating restaurants to enjoy a simple food served in that bowl such as soup, stews, ice cream or pasta. Guests keep their bowls as a reminder that there are always Empty Bowls in the world.

22 participating restaurants include: Aurelio's, Baja Fresh, Bella Bacino's, Caribou Coffee, Casa Margarita, DiNico's Pizza and Gelato Uno, Francesca's Belleza, Grapevine, Kama Indian Bistro, Knead Marketplace, LaGrange Art League Gallery and Studio, Magic Wok, Marconi's, Nickson's, Noodles & Co., Palmer Place, Prasino's, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Q BBQ, From Scratch Bakery, Sweetness, Trader Joe's and We're Nuts.

All proceeds are donated to our local food pantries at St. Cletus Church, Second Baptist Church and St. Francis Xavier Church.
